Among his many other charms, Mr. Wonderful knows how to maximize opportunity. About five years ago, he began work on his CLU designation. You can think of that as a Master's in Insurance. It's not, but close enough that it could be phrased that way on the SAT analogy section.
He took a course here, a course there. Switching companies last year, he found out that his new company will pay for an employee and spouse to attend the graduation ceremony for receiving a designation. Airfare, hotel, meals, the works. In January, Mr. Wonderful found out that the conferment ceremony this year would be in Hawaii. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom! Mr. Wonderful knocks out the remaining five college classes in six months in order to qualify for the designation.
