Old Paths

Sep. 8, 2006 - The Three Year Old Mind

Several nights ago my husband had the children do a quick pick up of the living room and gave them each an area to neaten.  There was a pile of blankets and pillows, and a few odds and ends, on and around our couch and coffee table and he assigned this spot to our three year old daughter and instructed her to tidy it up.

So she did, piling it all onto the coffee table. Upon discovering her completion of this chore, my husband called her back to the living room and explained that this was really not cleaning up and told her that now she needed to clear off the coffee table.

So she did.

So she did.

(And very neatly too)

LOL! (again, lol) I have to tell you I do believe I have that table or one very, very similar in my garage at the moment. It, also, has been (ahem) quite handy over the years.

Teehee... believe me, there's definitely uglier stuff, lol. Why, I've got this old buffet from the '60s that would make your eyes tear!!!

Blessings!
