Sorry for the delay, we were touring The Historic Triange of VA this past week. Fun times:)

After days of driving, being stuck in a car for hours and hours on end, we made it to Arkansas!
It wasn't that bad really, we had plenty of entertainment (ie. Adventures in Odyssey, The Last Chance Detectives, tobymac, dctalk, Nickel Creek, even our own singing at one point:)
Yesterday was my Papa's 40th birthday! Yaay! He says he is getting old, but tell him that, like wine and cheese, he gets better and better with age:)
It was loads of fun to see some of our old friends, I got to see inkblotter and her family for the first time in about 4 years. And my good friends the Twins, Sara and Emily and I whooped it up together watching comedies and finding stashes of chocolate at 2 in the morning:)
But back to being in Arkansas,
Yesterday, we were sitting at a Ckick-fil-a, when Nathan started screaming. When Nathan screams, he is *really* hurt. So, I run back to the playground area, and there he was, blood coming out of his eye. It ended up that he had split his eye lid right along the edge of his lashes (go figure) on the bench just outside the slide. He's fine now, after being babied by us and the Chick-fil-a employees.
I'll post pictures later:)
Hope you all have a good week!

Sorry for the lack of updates recently, our beloved mac crashed a couple weeks ago, and I have been traveling so....you get the picture.
Our vacation has officially started. First, we were off to VA o visit my UFO and AW, then good old New York (not an ideal place to relax, but was really cool none the less). Then, back to UFO's and AW's house, and then to close friend's house (Uncle Peter and Aunt Barb).
Tommorrow, we leave for Atlanta, GA(yay). And from there to Arkansas!
Will post pictures, later:)
HAPPY EASTER!
Hope you all had a good weekend

Okay peeps, you all need to comment!
anyhoo, I've been waiting to post these pictures ever since I took them, so, here they are.
This is Hercule, my trusty artist's assistance. He even has his own little props when he is modeling for me (no clothes yet, but a mustache is in the near future:)
this is my new lap desk (isn't it cute!) the front is brown (it is what Hercule is standing on above)
And now, a preview of some of my Macbeth work.
this the...ah, cover, I guess for my Macbeth Comic/Graphic Novel.
this is what a semi-finished page looks like (in this particular scene, the witches are preparing their icky brew and awaiting the hapless Macbeth)
this is what a practice sheet looks like. I lay out what I want the scenes to look like(sloppily, obviously) and then I redo the entire thing on a new piece of paper. (this is the scene where Macduff finds Macbeth and they begin to fight)
this is Macduff (I forgot to draw on his jerkin over his chain mail *oops*, not to mention his sword is missing...)
those are the 3 apparitions that the witches reveal to Macbeth. The Talking Head, The Bloody Child and the Crowned Child with a tree. They each have a secret meaning(mwahahahaha!) that lead to Macbeth's undoing....
these are the Three Witches (shocker). They are really odd people, really. That head up in the right hand corner is just a doodle, so ignore that:)
Well, that was a long post! Hope it attracts enough comments!
Have a good remainder of the week!

Okay so maybe it was just a *staged* food fight, but hey, it was fun anyway:)
from left to right: Caleb, Aubry and Sara
Cedrych giving Nathan a knuckle sandwich....
Of course Josh, Mom and Caleb had to Duke it up as well...
Great fun, eh?
Hope you all have a good weekend!

Post Scriptum,
As most of you must know, the actress Natasha Richardson died this past week of a skiing accident. Even though we don't know these people, I believe that we should keep them in our prayers all the more, and that during this sad time, that her family and friends would seek comfort in Christ.

So sorry everybody, for not posting in such a long time. It has been busy and we have been having computer troubles:(
I have an update about our friend Maria. She does indeed have cancer and will have to undergo radiation in the next few weeks. Maria and her family would greatly appreciate your prayers.
Hope you all have a great weekend!

Oh, don't worry! My mom didn't have a two week pregnancy, nor did we get any puppies or kittens. We (mom and I) got iPhones.
They are white, mom has a pink case and I have a green case (shocker!)
We are really enjoying them:)
Will post pictures soon.
On a slightly less happy note, a good friend of ours, we'll call her Maria, has recently had brain surgery to remove a tumor from her brain. We are still unaware of what has caused this growth, but what we *do* know is that the surgery went well and everybody has been very sweet and helpful to them. We would really appreciate you guys' prayers, as she is still in pain and in the dark about the cause of the tumor. Thank you:)
Hope you all have a great week/end:)

I can't post any photos right now, because the internet is sloooowwww...but I will post an icon (does that pacify you all:) And it must be something Katy will like, haha.

The movers came yesterday to pack up our house! My room is so bare now, just a bed, an empty dresser and an empty side-table. Nanny Jo's old room (The Chamber of Secrets) is where the boys sleep, and all the suitcases reside. That room is a huge mess!
We will look like a traveling circus with about 17 suitcases, 7 back-packs, 2 pet carriers and a pram!
Oh me.
During the move, we all have school, of course. Right now, I am reading Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. I just finished Macbeth, but I am still working on one of the sessions. I have to do a Macbeth comic book, of either one scene or the whole play. Right now, I just have to figure out what Duncan should look like....he is supposed to be a bit of a dotty old fellow, not too hard huh? ug.
Anyhoo, I will post pictures of our house (and Macbeth:). Hope you all have a good week/weekend:)

original...
...the Black and White...
There were all these terrific dunes all about...
...we kids just had to sit on one....
...and a more muted tint...
I love taking photos in this country!

One of my family's favorite thing to do during the holidays (weekends too:) is watch some classic films together. We get the most laughs out of those good-old-fashioned "movie shows".
I've compiled a list of our very favorites!
1: Seven Brides for Seven Brothers
2: Singing in the Rain
3: White Christmas
4: Robin Hood (1973)
5: The Apple Dumpling Gang
6: Candleshoe
7: To Catch a Theif
8: Great Mouse Detective
...not to mention shows!
1: Leave it to Beaver
2: The Andy Griffith Show
3: Father Knows Best
4: Leave It To Beaver
5: The Brady Bunch
6: The Dick Van Dyke Show
Ah....good times! They just don't make movies like that any more! Now almost everything on television is the beautiful-people-with-no-brains-show or the totally-dumb-crass-and-pointless-humor-show! So sad:(
Oh, and I found some Singing in the rain icons! I'll post a few, I know Katy will enjoy that...eh?

Aren't they charming? I've been searching for any Seven Brides For Seven Brothers icons, but alas! all in vain! If any one knows of any...do tell!
Hope you all had a happy New Year!
God Bless!

In all the Christmas rush, I forgot to post about the marriage of a dear Friend of ours, Shlomit.
Papa waiting for the ceremony...
Father and daughter, so sweet:)
the kiss...
...After the kiss...:P
an abstract photo of the table:)
Meidan's plate of food. It was so colorful!
the place where they held it was very beautiful and airy.
the happy couple dancing together...
And remember, all this happened just about a week before Christmas! And look at that weather!

Ah, there's nothing like the holidays:) We began our celebrations by watching "White Christmas" on Christmas Eve, altogether as a family, which is quite a feat.
The next day, we started with Advent and lit the Jesus Candle. Then I brought up the stockings. Those things are heavy! We go youngest to oldest.
Poor Sam wasn't feeling too well:(
The poor living room, post-stockings...
Mom and a candle she received:)
One of Papa's gift. He didn't know what it was, until he saw the apple:) But it looks so picturesque, does it not?
Our family picture, notice the dog sitting dutifully. We *almost* tried posing the cat...but that was a little too ambitious.
So how was you guy's weekend? We've spent most of the day watching Leave It To Beaver (Beaver is *so* cute:) and Father Knows Best (which is pretty funny). Tomorrow, Mom and Papa and I are going up to Jerusalem, to do some shopping for my hope chest. Mom's birthday is tomorrow as well!
note to Katy: I got the Most Wanted Edition of Robin Hood! it has a bonus alternate ending. The Alternate is way too dark for the movie, so I see while they didn't put it in. Ode-Lally!
God Bless, and Have a good weekend!

So, I am now 16! wow, I'm so old now...
I went to a cake decorating class the day before the party/my birthday. It was so much fun! Here's a picture of the finished project..
Isn't it cute!
here's another view. Thanks to Ms. Sue, for showing me how to make it!
we also had home-made gingerbread and marshmallow (and apple crisp). The Marshmallows where so much fun to make, and very popular at the table.
Maayan waiting for the Marshmallows...she liked them a lot:)
And here is The "virgint" Mary and Joseph (who ended up punching a wise man and taking his gold...oh well)
The female shepherds, looking, er...well, kind of scruffy.
Anyway, it was a fun night:)
Merry Christmas (only a week left!)

Everyone has favorite winter movies. I want this next series of posts to highlight some of me and my Sibs' favorite winter movies. And, you guys can join in to:)
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers:
I grew up on this movie:) my parent had me watching it when I was 3! and every kid in the family can recite the 7 brothers' names (ha), the brides on the other hand....not to mention, we quote it all day.
This scene is perhaps the most iconic, besides the "Sobbin' Women" song, that is.
I hope you all enjoy!
Merry Christmas!

I just wanted to thank all of you nice commenters! It was very fun for me to get comments from you all. Hopefully, I responded to all of them...pray tell me if I did not!
So, the neatest thing happened earlier this morning (Its about 9:54 that I'm writing this). Mom and I went to go out on our morning jog (the first this week, since I have been under the weather) and at Zion Sq. (which Katy knows well:) there was a film crew!
This is the second time that I've seen a film crew (on the same street no less!)
Haha, it was a nasal-spray commercial. Originally, it was a guy (In this picture, it was a girl). Mom and I had to walk away, we were laughing so hard at the actor's cheesy inhaling act.
And here's another picture, for good measure. Note: Josh took all the pictures, and some of them aren't that good. He was trying to be all covert like:)
Anyhoo, hope you enjoy this post! Its always fun to see something like this happening on your own street!
Merry Christmas!
Post Scriptum:
I found a lot of very cute Christmas icons recently, so I'll post a few later...maybe next week.

Seriously, I have been on a drawing craze lately, methinks it has something to do with the Christmas Spirit:)
This is a picture of Martin Luther.(Sorry I didn't finish the door, whoops:)
This is Ramandu's daughter. We JUST finished reading the Voyage of the Dawn Treader.
And this is..er...*supposed* to be Roland (from the Song of Roland) I have been reading it in school. I haven't really bothered to finish him, but I'll finish him later and show what he looks like...
Katy will know what this is...I have these animal peeps I draw sometimes...
This is a lame little cartoon that I did Thanksgiving morning during Devotions. *The thing the Native American is holding is supposed to be a turkey*
Anyhoo, I have exactly 9 days till my 16th Birthday! I really need to prepare for the Christmas Pageant. Oh yeah, and 18 days till Christmas! yay!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
