Topic for Prayer Day August 3rd

Dear Friends and Fellow Prayer Warriors,

August 3rd is fast approaching and I am hoping to find a subject for prayer by July 27th so that we have time to focus in on our prayer need. So here's what I'm thinking.

Need 1: The realization that abortion is murder and may the eyes of people be opened to how evil and against God it is

Need 2: Prodigal children to return back home to the LORD

Need 3: The persecuted Church which is among many nations

These are just a few of my thoughts, if you have any, please feel free to comment them to me and on July 27th we'll have a vote for what the majority sees the greatest need for.

hey Maiden Princess, all 3 of those issues are huge. For # 2 though I would also add unsaved friends and family that have fallen away, or have never come to the saving and peaceful power of Jesus Christ; But, then again we could have a different day for that, just some thoughts... Do you think that we could do one every month? All of those are so important I would hate to just chose one.

All three are topics that need a lot of pray. #1 and #2 are heaviest on my heart. #3 sits heavy too, just not as much as #1 and #2 does right now.

So far the opinion seems to be that we should keep them all (which I must confess I was hoping for) and #1 seems to be the winner. We will wait until the 27th to take the vote but so far that's what seems to be the most wanted!

You can fast all day, you can get all your immediate friends together for a prayer meeting, you can put flyers up all over your town or city, or you can just take time throughout the day to pray with a humbled and sincere heart. Whatever you choose to do, nothing is too big or too small to escape the LORD’s notice. Will you take a stand? Will you kneel with us on the 3rd?
