Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that I care so passionately about homeschooling ...
and that I am actually comfortable in my own skin.
Perhaps it is a lack of dictionary use in my town.
Or, perhaps, "they" are right on the money; I certainly don't want to be described by any of the antonyms.

Ooops. I guess this particular trait is something else I've passed on to you. But, 'here this' it's a wonderful trait to have. As I've been referred to many a time. "Oh, Anne, she's weird, but wonderful" I now say: Hallalujah! Created in the image of God and He doesn't make junk. Imagine going through life "being normal" No thanks. I'll take eccentric anytime. Bye for now I'm going to go for a walk to Cravings to get some chocolate and then go home (unless I meet some of my clients who call me "Ghetto Grandma") pushing my buggy (4 wheels no gas needed) and chat with 'tumour man." Does it get much weirder than that???? I say NO! PTL. P.S. Me thinks other doeth protest too much! Envious maybe? Don't know how to 'think about things outside the box' My word what would they think about Church on the beach?????? Love Mom XXXXX

"I certainly don't want to be described by any of the antonyms." Certainly there is a book title in that! What a beautiful line. Eccentric or Stepford Homeschooler? Hmm.

Around here we say:

I dance to a trumpets and cymbals majestically announcing that I am a special child of God.

Or, my personal favorite (said by, yes, my very own mother), Julie is a "nice weird."

I am glad there are people like you who I can fit with! I find normal, regular, ordinary, customary, and conventional exceedingly dull and predictable.

They didn't mean "eccentric" they meant "eclectic". They were just vocabulary challenged enough to not catch their mistakes! (not being homeschooled and all!0 :-0
