Wow. That was so annoying. I typed up an entry. Then I was checking out a kid's xanga off of a Veritas Academy blogring. No big deal, right? Well, this little pop-up, um, popped up. So I went to shut the page. It would not shut. Period. It would NOT shut! So I restarted the computer.
Anyway, the jist of the entry thus far was a convo between Ataralasse and Hyarion.
Hyarion: "Atara, do you have your license yet?"
Atara: "What license?"
Hyarion: "Your driving license."
Atara: "No."
Hyarion: *with great sympathy* "me neither."
her: "Of course you don't. Why, you don't even know the difference between the brake pedal and the exhaust!!!"
Dad, Mom and I: *laugh hysterically*
Atara: *conspiratorally* "Of course, neither do I."
My family is funny.
Hey, my eval today went well! *grins* This was the second year that I've had this evaluator, and I'm still getting used to her style. My old evaluator liked to look at EVERYTHING, but she basically just wants to be sure that we met the requirements. They're both awesome, caring, Christian people -- it's just somewhat difficult to get used to what they personally expect from me.
I was checking out various random blogs (as Mom and Dad are at Wal*Mart) and found www.homeschoolblogger.com/Ella
with some very amusing quotes in her April 11th post. Please go read them!!
Hmm... I seem to hear someone out of bed. *sighs*
Yep, sure enough, it is 10:35 and Elpinoine was in the bathroom brushing her hair. Um, it's time to be ASLEEP. I don't think anyone really cares how your hair looks, girl!
Oh yeah... more about hair. We were talking about how guys in the military get their hair cut really short.
Hyarion: "Why would they do that?"
Mom: "Because they don't want the guys worrying about their hair."
Elpinoine: "Well, why not?"
Oh yeah again! Coming home from Districts we stopped at a Sam's Club. Right inside the door, there was a car.
Antion, Veon and Samwise: *drool over car* *say things along the lines of what an awesome car, sweet car, oooooh... etc.*
McKenzie: *to me, after the guys were a decent distance away* I don't like that car.
me: me neither.
McKenzie: I mean... the color's ok... but...
me: Yeah. It's a nice color but a rotten car.
I just walked upstair and said to Hyarion and Elpinoine, "I should be hearing perfect silence."
I'm not sure that that made perfect sense. |
