Narie and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad, Day

And just so y'all are clear on this... it was NOT a very bad day.  There were just about two hours where I felt like this, due to blood sugar (or the deficiency thereof) and calculus

Anyway...

Last night when I went to bed my back hurt and now when I woke up, it still hurt and when I got up I was grumpy because I dreamed my friends were in terrible car crashes and by mistake I got the wrong Omnibus books and we didn't have breakfast until almost noon and I could tell it was going to be a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.

I could tell because in my dream Antion was in a car crash, and his brother Josh was in a car crash, and Mario and David were in a car crash, and then Johnny D was in a car crash, and they kept throwing all these poor people in the swimming pool.

During school, Beowulf died and his men except Wiglaf deserted him and when I did calc my brain wouldn't turn on and I hate calc and now I have to copy The Most Important Identities 100 times and they still won’t let me think about the fourth dimension.

I think I’ll move to Australia.

When I got on to blog, the smilies were gone and my fonts were gone and the site was as slow as molasses.  I hate molasses.  And when I got on my email I found that David's computer is still broken and he is busy and so can't email much right now.  So I emailed someone else and no one even answered.

I could tell, it was going to be a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.

In devotions Abraham was told to sacrifice his son, his only son, and I felt bad for the poor guy because it was his only son, after all, and he couldn't have been having a good day, but mostly I felt bad because I was still worried about my poor friends in my dream being in so many car crashes and almost missing quiz meets.  Also I didn't want to be awake yet.

...

I told Mom that part way through Calc class (that I thought I'd move to Australia), and she helpfully replied, "Yeah, you probably will."  Then I revised it to Imladris, because I don't think they have calculus there.  Lucky elves.

*sighs*

On the other hand, I got an email from someone I hadn't emailed recently, and Abraham didn't have to sacrifice his son, and it was warm enough for Mom and I to walk to the mall and I got to wear my leather jacket.  I had forgotten that I even had a leather jacket until Wednesday, when Antion turned the light out by hitting it really hard with the sleeve of his leather jacket, and that caused me to remember my own.

Also, I exaggerated, I didn't email anyone after David said that he couldn't email me.  But there are still some people who haven't gotten back to me recently...  *glares at them*

And my back feels better than it did yesterday, at least I think it does, and I studied my quizzing, and studied my science, and also I found a line from Beowulf which I really liked.

It's when Beowulf goes to fight the dragon...

Not exactly in heaps     did those hand-companions

sons of noblemen     stand close to him...

I just love the "Not exactly in heaps".  ^_^

Oh, and the other good news is that I haven't heard that any of my friends were in terrible car crashes.

I guess I won't move to Australia, after all.

Unless the computer crashes and eats this entry.

Come sword-dance

tee hee

I'm sorry, I'm laughing at your terrible and yet not so terrible misfortunes. :P I'm glad that half of that wasn't true, lol.

And let me just say here, I try to be very prompt in answering emails. *nods* Especially yours. I'VE emailed you back recently! *glares at guilty parties*

You're not a slow emailer, Madeline...

Good for you, Alexandra... sometimes Tom needs to be kept in his place, but tell him I said hi.

Wow on the picture!

Of course I'm not.

I was merely saying that to set an example for some people who are very slow emailers. *glares at people who haven't emailed you*

Yeah, that's a really cool picture. ^_^

Hmm, sounds like things are not going so great over there...I hope tomorrow is better for you...

Thanks for the comment and yeah, you are definitely right about what you said on relativity. Relative science may be alright but relative truth is something entirely different!

With you on the Quest,
Frodo
