Hello!

Well... not too much going on here today.  We went to the mall, because there were a lot of businesses with booths there, so of course we were all picking up pens and candy.  I got 8 pens.  I thought that was a pretty good number until Hyarion counted up his -- about 16!

me:  O_o

Hmmm... I read Lucy Winchester again, I guess in hopes that I would like it better the second time, but I didn't.  Grrrrr.... she makes me so mad when she goes off the second time with an unbelieving guy.  I mean, so she had a rough life, but the soap-opera-ness of it all fails to entrance me.

OK.  Enough on that subject.

I still need to finish Grendel, I only read the first few pages.  ^_^  So far it was interesting, though.

Let's see... other news.... I worked on my cloak, but it was all ripping out hems which I put in completely wrong... so... let's not mention that, eh?

The final count on my blogpoll, which I'm taking down tonight, is 23 say that it is NEVER right to lie and 15 say that there are times when it is right to lie.  So... maybe I'll put a new one up in a few days.  :)  Something for you to look forward to.

The really big news is that on Monday, I am going to Washington DC for the March for Life!  I'm sure that plenty of stories will be forthcoming... *shiver*... the first year we went, we were "locked out" of the bus in the freezing cold... until Andrew decided to pull the lever which said something like, "Pull here to open door."

He's smart like that.

Anyway, we'd appreciate prayer -- for safety in travelling, in DC (the one year BethJoy almost jumped out in front of a bus *wince*), and especially that people's eyes would be opened to the evils of abortion.  And that they would be motivated to make things change.

Psalm 106:37-40

37 They sacrificed their sons
and their daughters to the demons;
38 they poured out innocent blood,
the blood of their sons and daughters,
whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan,
and the land was polluted with blood.
39 Thus they became unclean by their acts,
and played the ***** (er, it doesn't like that word, but you can look it up yourself.) in their deeds.

40 Then the anger of the Lord was kindled against his people,
and he abhorred his heritage...

but on the other hand, we are told,

II Chronicles 7:14

14 if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Come sword-dance

Well,

*cough* I don't think you can quite count that poll as accurate, seeing as SOME people voted more than once.

Hmm......I wish I could go around picking up pens and candy. Sounds like fun. I've tried doing it to my friends before, but they weren't as appreciative as I was. :P

a note from Rose

Hello Opckid,
Thank you for the comment. Yes, I agree. If they could mix the best points in them both it would be perfect.
Love to hear from you,
Rose
