Hi all. I know it has been awhile sense I last posted (like a year). I'm sorry. Life has been a bit busy for me. I'm sure you are asking what could keep me so busy I don't have time to post. Well,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, My oldest son Steven just got his 2nd degree black belt and he's working at becoming a teacher at his karate school. I feel like I have made my own ruts going back and fourth to drop and pick him up there lol. Steven has also gotten his driving permit, so I'm trying to give him driving time. My kids have 2 church events in the week they attend.And there is church itself on Sunday. Steven is taking drum lessons. Cody is not taking piano anymore, but will be taking swimming this summer. We are all getting ready to go to Hawaii in September . Dh got a motor cycle and loves to take me out on it in the summer. He is also working really hard on the yard. He is getting ready to build a side fence and get an area in the back ready for an apple tree for Cody. He has been working inside the house also. The house is really sound, it just needs a little update. We live in a 1970's house. All the wood work is DARK brown  . The light switches and plug-ins needed replacing also. He is almost done with that. Let's see.... I am helping to clean the church once a week. And I am still working part-time. Still homeschooling of course. It looks like Steven may be done with school next year. If he go's over, it will be just a few subjects. I'm sad and not ready to get to this point in his life  . I know I should be, but he is still my little boy.  Sorry, I'm just having a mommy moment here .OK, I'm done crying. Where was I?..... Oh yea, I am getting ready for my summer flower planting. I LOVE planting. I could plant something every day. In fact, when I tell dh I'm going to Wal-Mart or Lowe's, he go's with me to make sure I don't spend all my house money on plants LOL. I am also getting ready to paint my family room and kitchen. And the list go's on and on and on........ I wish I could promise a post every day or week or maybe year LOL, but I can't  . I will try and post as I sit here and think of something new. I may be busy,but it's the same thing each week for the most part. But don't worry, I will post about Hawaii.  Talk to you sometime.  |
