I think we have a new famiy member

I was outside last nigh taking the trash out when I found a puppy. She was very cold (it got down to 33 degrees) and she was hungry. My neighbor came out and said she has been hanging out around here a few days now. He has been trying to get the dog to come to him but she was to scared. Well, dogs love me lol. I had her eating out of my hand. She ended up following me in the house where my chihuahua pups want nuts. Well, I called my dh and asked him what to do. He told me we should try doing something because it was to cold to just let her stay outside. So, I set up a place for her in the kitchen and she ran right to the blanket and went to sleep. I think I won her over with the dog food lol. When my dh came home from work, he feel in love with her RIGHT away lol. I'm not to sure if we will keep her or not. Dh looked online to see what kind of dog she is. We know she was a mix of Chihuahua, but wasn't sure of what else. Well, it looks like she is a Chihuahua/Boston Terrier mix. She may have one other thing. We are not sure. She is such a sweet heart. She just loves the kids, cats and dogs. And she loves to run up to you when you sit down and give you lots of love. We may go ahead and post pics of her around the neighborhood to see if anyone lost her. Then, if no one calls, we may have a dog. I will let you know what happens. |
