Garden time

Well, It's that time of year again. GARDEN TIME!!!! I just love getting my hands in dirt. And this year I get to grow some yummy food instead of just pretty flowers. Sence we moved in town, I have just been planting flowers and a tree or 2. But my dh is building me raised beds so I can have fresh tomatoes and peppers. Also, I will be trying my hand at herbs. We also hope to put in 2 apple trees Lord willing. My kids eat sooo many apples that I can't seem to keep up. And with the price of everything going through the roof, who can afford to buy them every other day. So this should save us money. I do have a website I would love for all of you to check out. This is a family who lives in CA and who grows there own food. They even live in the city like me :-). I hope one day my yard looks just like theres. Chickens and all LOL. I hope you enjoy there updates as much as I do. And I hope it encourages you to try your hand at growing soom or your own food to.
