Goals.

Here is what I want to accomplish by homeschooling. Proverbs 1:5 A wise man will hear and increase learning, And a man of understanding will attain wise counsel, Kinda a tough goal. No small miracle. Thank God that HE is helping me... cuz nothing is impossible with God. It's so hard to stay focused. So that's what I remembered this morning. I want my children to be wise, not just book smart. I want them to learn how to learn, not just to memorize facts. I want them be men (and a woman) of understanding. I want them to always be learning and 'increasing learning'. I want them to really 'hear'. and to know where to turn for wise counsel. For now... who is wiser than a child? A parent. So if they are surrounded by 'wise' counsel I am praying that they will be wise. Ok, back on track!! this is why I love to blog. thanks for listening! |
