homemade noodles and chicken soup

Posted in Projects

Yesterday we made home made noodles with our food preservation unit in Weaver.  They had suggested that we make nooodles (4 eggs, 1/2 tsp. salt, and enough flour to make a dough consistency).  The kids worked together to make the noodles.

DS11 is in Royal Ranger's with our church... so, he is working on his bachelor merit.  So, he finished the meal by making a fresh loaf of bread.  Once the noodles were done, he made home made chicken noodle soup.  He also made fresh iced tea.  It all turned out yummmy!  Here's a picture of the end product.

This tasted very good on a very cold and snowy day!

(See what you are missing Grama and Grampa!  It must be nice being in Florida!)
