The Road Less Traveled

• Feb. 12, 2008 - Just a short blurb...

My three year old theologian spares no effort in "correcting" his family members! His favorite victim is his older brother. The following examples occurred within the last week:

6 yo: (finishing a prayer) In Jesus' name, Amen.
3 yo: It's "In Jesus' name we pray, Amen!"

6 yo: Jesus is God's son.
3 yo: But, Jesus is God!

I consider it justice served, as my 6 yo makes a habit of "correcting" those around him!

That's the kind of thing that has been happening in our house for years! I love when they get into discussions like this. We may have a couple teachers or preachers or something, I think.

Glad your kids have the "foundation" to talk about such things. ;')

That is so cute. My personal favorite is when the youngers are praying before the meal and just happen to "mention" the "sins" of the others. I.E., "Dear God, Please help Josh to not be so mean. Thank you for our food, Amen." Yep, we have it here too. Tammy
