Hi All,

This is just a quick note about Noah's surgery today.  I will give more details later tonight (Wednesday).

Noah's surgery did NOT go well.  They were going to take out his G-tube and put in a GJ-tube but had difficulty finding his pyloris to enter into his intestines.  His stomach is mis-shapen (more like a "U" instead of a "J" shape) and they were not able to put the tube in as far as they wanted to.  If the tube backs out of the intestine, they will most likely have to open him up and do some major exploratory surgery and possible stomach repair on Friday.

They will take an X-ray tomorrow morning (Thursday) to see where the tube is located and then make a decision at that time.

It is Wednesday, Aug. 22 at 4:15pm.  I will update the blog again later tonight.

We're so sorry to hear about the complications with Noah's surgery. I know this must be very difficult for you all, but we believe that the Lord has a plan for Noah's life and that He will use Noah's experiences to His Glory.
