Long Day Of Testing
Posted in Noah Updates
|
Just talked with Kate and she is glad to be back in Noah's room after some extensive tests that were done this afternoon. They started the tests at 12:30 and finished up at about 9:00pm. The gave him some Barium and then took X-rays periodically to monitor it as it moved through his system. Kate doesn't have any final results because the Radiology Techs had all left by the time the study was complete. She will update more tomorrow (Wednesday) once they have the results.
Kate is extremely tired, so I told her I would post this to the blog for all of our family and friends. Thanks to everyone for your continued support!
All the best,
Jeff

We'll be praying for rest and strength, and hoping that the test results have positive news to tell.
In Him,

Sep. 6, 2007 - Praying!

We pray throughout the day, for Noah and his precious family. During time like these when our love ones are in pain, the song "Even in the Valley... God is Good" continues to play and replay in my heart. I posted the words and will continue to pray and pray!
"Even in the Valley" by the Whisnants
High upon the mountian the sun is shining bright
My heart is filled with gladness
here above the cares of life
but ive just come through the valley of trouble fear and pain
it was there i came to know my God
enought to stand and say...
Even in the valley God is good
even in the valley he is faithful and true
he carries his children through
like he said he would
even in the valley God is good
This road of life has lead you
to a valley of defeat
you wonder if the father
has heard your desperate plea
there is hope in that rugged place
where tears of sorrow dwell
cant you hear him gently whispering
im here and all is well
even in the valley God is good
even in the valley he is faithful and true
he carries his children through
like he siad he would
even in the valley God is good
Even in the valley God is good
even in the valley he is faithful and true
he carries his children through
like he said he would
even in the valley God is so good
God is so good
he carries his children through like he said he would even in the valley God is good

Just want you to know that we are thinking of you and keeping you in our prayers. Can you imagine doing this without the Lord? It will be interesting to learn what the barium tests showed today, maybe a major breakthrough! You ARE in His hands--
