For the first time, we actually came home from the ER instead of being admitted. :-) X-rays showed that Noah's broviac is pulled back out of place, but is still in far enough to work - at least for now. The insertion site is very raw and bloody and sore from the line moving, but they cleaned it up and re-dressed it. We will follow up with his surgeon Monday.
I'll fill in the details tomorrow when I'm not so tired. :-)
Thank you all so much for your prayers.
Kate

Thank You, God!.... I'm so glad you got to come home, Kate, and I really hope you all get a good night's rest! Thanks very much for keeping us posted, even when you're awefully tired. It's so good to hear from you even if you need to make it short & sweet which you just need to do sometimes...I'm happy to think of you getting some much needed rest instead of sitting up typing us a full blown report every time---save those for when you feel like it and have "a little" more time! :o) Blessings on your dear family---Love you all!

Jan. 13, 2008 - Home from ER

It was so heartening to see you in church this morning, to know you hadn't had to stay, to see Noah being friends with the other babies in nursery. I am praying that the ER time and the poor technique of the nurses who helped you will not show up in the days ahead--glad the surgeon will patch things up tomorrow (well, OK, later today by the time I post this). Our home group is keeping you all in prayer. Love, Marion
