Settling in

Posted in Noah Updates

Our time in the ER wasn't too bad, and we are settled in our room.  Noah feels and looks so terrible that aggressive antibiotics were started immediately on the assumption that he would end up with positive blood cultures.  He has gone downhill shockingly fast.

Our sweet nurse made up our bed and we're going to climb into it now.  :-) I'll fill in more tomorrow.  It is snowing and yucky here already, so pray for a safe drive home for Jeff.  I'm hoping the roads are clear tomorrow so my mom or Jeff can come up.

Love,
Kate
Oh - someone asked about my due date.  I'm supposed to be induced a week from Tuesday.  Yep - we're cutting this one close,  :-) but trusting God for the timing.

Once again, holding you close in thought and prayer. May God give you rest tonight. May the angels of God be with you and surround with His light.

I'm glad you got settled in so quickly. One day, when we are all feeling well, we are going to have to go over and meet you in person. (We live in Sptbg).

I just looked outside, and it's snowing here now too! Hopefully the roads will be clear tomorrow for you to see your family.

Praying for you... also, wanted to let you know that Madeline (whom I learned about from your blog) is with Jesus. I just got an email. Thank you for letting us know about her and having the honor of praying for her.

In Him,

Our family is praying for Noah and his family. Every night before prayer time I have to give the "Baby Noah Update" for our children. They all want to know how he is and how his baby sister is. God's timing is always right. I know Mary Faith will make her entrance at the right time, and I know with all your planning and all God's faithfulness, Big Brother Noah will be cared for well.

A challenging situation to trust God's timing in, I'm sure, but He has never failed. I will continue to keep both your precious babies and your dear family in my prayers. Reading of your faith-filled response to life's challenges has encouraged me over the past number of months and inspired me to begin a blogging journey of my own. Thank you for your example of faith and grace under pressure, for trusting the Lord instead of the world's "wisdom", and appreciating the joyful moments in the midst of a challenging journey.

Continuing to pray for Noah and your whole family, including the little one being formed within your womb. How exciting that soon she will be in your arms! I'm sorry that Noah has gone downhill so quickly this time.

Love, Dawn
