quick update

Posted in Noah Updates
I've just got a second here - there isn't much to report.  All we can do is stay the course and wait for cultures and labs.  Noah isn't scarily sick, but his chest does look yucky and he once again has horrific looking red circles going from his cheekbones all the way around his eyes up to his eyebrows.  Everyone says they've never seen anything like it . . . .typical Noah stuff.

I hope I'll have more news tomorrow.  My chest is feeling much better but I am still struggling with a lot of coughing at night.   Thank you so much for your prayers!!

Blessings,
Kate

Kate, thank you so much for taking the time to update. You are so often in our thoughts. I'm glad you're starting to feel healthier!

Noah is such an enigma! As if anyone needed proof that he's "one of a kind", right? How is his mood?

Continually praying for you, your sweet boy, and the rest of your family. May His grace abound to you, and may answers and direction come quickly!!

Grace,

Hang in there Kate...I know how hard it is dealing with a sick child when you are not feeling that great yourself. And, some coughs seem to last forever before they clear up, hopefully yours will continue to get better rapidly!

I hope this hospital stay is not as long as the last one, and that little Noah will be able to go back home soon.

God is GOOD....Keep the faith and know that you are loved and covered in prayer. :)

Been praying - as always! My swim laps start by turning on my music (yes, they make MP3 players for swimmers) and then, Lord, thank you for this BEAUTIFUL day.... please be with "Blog Noah" (we are praying for 2 Noah's! - as if God doesn't know which one I mean! LOL!)... and it goes on from there - I wonderful worship time and you and Noah are always first on my list! Thanks for keeping close to my Father!
Praying that Noah's "natural eye make-up" clears up and so does the infection.
Peaceful sleep to you both and all our Father's blessings!!

Dear Kate, I'm praying for you to get better- and of course for dear Noah too! I'm sorry that you have been in and out so much- we understand just how taxing that is on everyone! Dear Jesus, please heal Noah and his mommy and bring them both home to be with their family soon!

Jun. 27, 2009 - Praying for peaceful sleep for Kate and Noah!

Dear Precious Kate and Noah,

Praying for peaceful sleep for both of you! Praying for your precious family as well: Jeff, Hannah, William, Matthew, Timothy, David, Sarah and Mary Faith.

Psalm 4:8
In peace I will lie down and sleep,
for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe.

Psalm 71:6-8 (New American Standard Bible)
6 By You I have been sustained from my birth;
You are He who took me from my mother's womb;
My praise is continually of You.
7 I have become a marvel to many,
For You are my strong refuge.
8 My mouth is filled with Your praise
And with Your glory all day long.

Psalm 71:6-8 (New Living Translation)
6 Yes, you have been with me from birth;
from my mother’s womb you have cared for me.
No wonder I am always praising you!
7 My life is an example to many,
because you have been my strength and protection.
8 That is why I can never stop praising you;
I declare your glory all day long.

Psalm 71:6-8 (Amplified Bible)
6 Upon You have I leaned and relied from birth; You are He Who took me from my mother's womb and You have been my benefactor from that day. My praise is continually of You.
7 I am as a wonder and surprise to many, but You are my strong refuge.
8 My mouth shall be filled with Your praise and with Your honor all the day.

Much love,
The Ericksons
