quick prayer request :-)

I couldn't say anything until now, and it's been killing me to keep quiet LOL, but Hannah's big birthday gift is that we are flying her best friend Pip in from Virginia today.  Pip is due to land in a couple of hours, and we are surprising Hannah here at the hospital instead of at home.  We have nurses and doctors and Child Life all in on the big surprise.  PLEASE pray for safety for Pip, for on-time flights,for Jeff's sanity as he takes 7 children to the airport to pick Pip up,:-) and for the surprise to go off without a hitch!!!!

If all goes well, we will ALL go home later this afternoon!

Kate, I am so glad to hear some good news! When I saw the request for prayer, I was afraid that something was wrong with Noah. I will pray that all goes well with Pip's flight and that Hannah has a GREAT birthday! Also for Noah to get to go home! Happy 4th of July to you and you family. Love, Ruby

I marvel at how you can not only go on with normal family life (and normal family life in a big family, at that) but make so many special days memorable. So many of us (at least me) just buckle down and focus on our crisis and neglect everything around us. You are a great mom. Praying for your day to go smoothly. Happy Birthday, Hannah.

That is so exciting! The kids and I pulled over about 3pm at the airport and watched a plane land...hhhmmmm...
