Our Quiverfull

Nov. 11, 2009

Noah is going to the hospital.

Hey, this is Hannah Grace (Kate's oldest daughter).  I am posting for Mom because she is packing...she and Noah are heading to Greenville hospital.  Dr. B got a call at 5am this morning from the labs saying that Noah's blood Gram Negative bacteria.  He waited a little bit and then called us this morning.  Nothing is growing from his line yet, so this bug may have come from his gut.

Noah doesn't look really bad, and we are glad that we caught this fast.  In fact, that's probaly why his labs looked so good last night - because we caught this so fast.  Noah has had a hard time with Gram Negative bugs in the past, and he really needs your prayers.

Mom will update when she knows more and has a chance.

Oh goodness! Not this again! Sorry Kate! I know this is so frustrating for you! We'll be praying this doesn't get too bad before they are able to stop it!

Hannah, you do SO much behind all the scenes and God is using this sickness in Noah to make you into exactly what he needs you to be! This is all part of his plan for you too!

Hugs!

So much for all our encouragement. God's Spirit gave you a sense that you knew all was not well with your precious Noah! Praying he gets the antibiotics that he needs quickly into his system and won't have the same problems fighting this strain as in the past!
May God's healing hand be upon Noah and give all of you peace through this journey of uncertainty! May Christ be your Strong Tower where His righteous can run to and give you strength and His peace while you are at the hospital. Praying it's a short stay! Thanks Hannah Grace for posting for your Mom. You are such a gift from God for your family! :-)

Dear,

We will pray for you, your siblings, your parents and of course Noah. What a hard Providence! Yet the Lord of Providence is in control and can be trusted in the face of these sorrowful & trying circumstances.

Dei gratia,

HveHope

Dec. 8, 2009 - Too Many Blessings?? Not Possible!

Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
- Psalm 127:3

God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
- Romans 3:4

The Estes are blessed! His thoughts are NOT our thoughts; His ways are not our ways. We shall not understand until we are translated to our Heavenly Home. We are only passing through this valley of shadows. The only things we shall take with us are the souls He deigns to save. Let them begin with our precious children! We know not what character flaws He is hammering our with the blows He rains down on us. They are onerous now; we shall understand later. We have only to trust and obey now.

It IS so hard now. I am so frail, so weak, so easy to give in. Help me Lord Jesus! We all cry out to You. Open the eyes of this weak one to Your Blessings! Lord have mercy on her or him! Open her heart to Your Love, to Your Truth! So be it Lord! Her struggles must have been so hard that she gave up. Send someone to love her in a special way that breaks through the hard shell that she has built up to keep out the hurt. It must be awful in there. I feel she must be all alone. Lord help this one! In the HOLY Name of Jesus, the King of Kings, Amen, AMEN and AMEN!!
