The reason why your Hobbit link is not showing up is because a link to your blog is showing up first.

Here is an example of how a book link looks in my template under a heading:
(a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0060234814/sr=8-5/qid=1141773139/ref=pd_bbs_5/103-0093876-6233426?%5Fencoding=UTF8")

I replaced the < with an ( so that it would show up.
