Keeping it Simple

Thinking of Jesse

I don't know Jesse Marie Davis, but, I live only about 30 minutes from her...close enough for me to drive there...close enough for me to help in the search too.  My heart goes out to this family as they are on the cusp of finding out what happened to their dear loved one.  I am praying for them and for her and for her son.  Me, with a daughter who is in her teenage years and constantly watching out for her safety...it makes me think about what Jesse's mother must be going through.  I have glued myself to radio and television to watch for new developements as I am working around my house or working on a project this week and just feel compelled to pray. 

Dear Heavenly Father,

Please give the Davis family your never ending peace and lift them up Lord for the long days ahead.  May you comfort her little boy, Blake, and may the truth come out.  I pray for safety for all those who are searching today and thank you for such a great community that will give of their time to help this family.

It's such a sad a horrible situation! I'm praying for everyone concerned. I loved your post about forgiving and forgetting. I, too, struggle with the forgetting part. I want to do better, too!! The good thing is that we recognize this and can work on it. Praise God, He will help, too!! Take care!
