Spring Break...

One of the highlights of our break was when Brittany and I decided to go and paint pottery.  As I have mentioned I am in the process of spicing up my kitchen...it isn't quite completed so I haven't posted any pics...as soon as our trip is over I'll have the time to finish...anyway, we have a place here that you can go and buy pieces of pottery...sit at tables and paint them...you leave them there, they fire them for you and you pick them up in a week.  What a great time we had together sitting there chatting about nothing in particular but just enjoying each other.  We each chose a desert plate which we are going to hang in the kitchen...we chose coordinating colors so it would look like a set.  We want to go back and do 2 more...so we'll have to do that soon.  Here are the pics...I'll start with Brittany's and end with mine.  We are very proud of them...

You both did a great job! Is the pottery place you're talking about at the Strongsville Mall? We saw one there the the last time we visited and thought it looked like fun. Have a great day.

The plates look fantastic. I enjoyed browsing through your blog. I have a Brittany also who was dancing until last year she had to decide between that and Tae Kwon Do. TKD with the family won out!

Those are beautiful!! I love the colors! What a fun thing to do together and have not only the memories, but the tangible plates as a reminder of your precious time together!!
