Oct. 11, 2006 - Order Key for Treadmill...done...

well not really but I'm going to count this!  The purpose of this goal was to get my treadmill up and running again.  I contacted the manufacturer and the key was going to cost $1.45...no problem.  So what was the shipping you ask?  Well, the shipping was $15.00!!!  No thank you!  I refuse to pay $16.45 for a little plastic key.  Soooo I have done something I do not recommed that anyone do (unless you refuse to pay that much for a key! lol)...I have figured out how to cram a butter knife in the little slot where the key would have gone and I now have a "knife-key"!!  Works for me!

So...#24...done!

Sep. 4, 2006 - 101 things in 1001 days

I have been super-inspired by Michael Green over at Triplux to participate in the "101 things in 1001 days" project.  You can  find out more about this project and how to create your own over at Triplux.  There also a long list of other people giving this project a whirl...

The rest of my family will be joining me soon with their own lists...they are just not the "list-maker" I am so don't be looking for their lists anytime soon! lol!!
