~He is Risen... Such Beautiful Words~
Jan. 15, 2009 - A deep, meaningful revelation of my personal shortcoming.
I usually don't blog unless I have something to say. (Because, wouldn't you truly rather that I wait a week to post instead of posting meaningless posts every day?) Well, I do have something to say today.
I am not known for exceptional grace around the house. I am going through a clumsy stage known as life. I am constantly spilling, dropping and breaking things. (Sometimes I am simultaneously dropping, spilling and breaking.) Today is no exception.
For lunch, we had leftover chilli, along with cornbread and some sort of chicken, bamboo and rice soup. I was carrying my bowl of chilli to the dining room (Which is situated right next to the kitchen) when I tripped and dropped the bowl, spilling the contents across the floor. (Thankfully, the chilli wasn't very soupy. It was mainly vegetables I cleaned up.) After scooping the chilli back into the bowl, I walked into the kitchen, tripped, and dropped the bowl, again. By this time my mom was somewhere between laughing and crying (in despair of my ever learning to walk without spilling, dropping, or breaking something), and my six year old brother was insisting that I clean it up. (Without his help, mind you. :)
So, after I cleaned that up, I got a bowl of the rice soup. (No spills, yay!) Arghh! I'm just not a naturally graceful, balanced person. :)
In Christ,
~Emily

Well the sheep were cute but the camel is a whole other story. hahaha During one of the closing songs during the play one of the sheep (two yrs old) started undressing the baby Jesus. It was only a doll this year (which was a really good thing!) and it was definitely what everyone was talking about at the party afterwards. lol
