Week one is DONE for our Holiday Prep! 

For the cleaning portion of the plan we worked outside the house on the porches.  My back porch is MUCH improved.  My front porch still needs some work.   I had been totally neglecting my houseplants on the back porch, they were dying...  But now things are perking up for them.

I used a homemade concrete cleaner to wash down the walls and floor. 

Concrete Cleaner

1 gal. warm water

1/4 c. washing soda

1/4 c. bleach

1 T. dishwashing soap

Mix it all together and use on that porch floor.

For the holiday prep portion of the plan we were going to make our lists.  I made a list of all the folk I'm planning on giving presents to.  I made the menu for our holiday party.  I haven't updated my Christmas card list yet, but I hope to do that this week.  We already have a budget for Christmas worked out.
