Last night Dad wanted to show me the
song he's working on, "Open your Eyes". I went down, of course. I like
listening to the stuff Dad's doing.
Anyway, so I was sitting there, on the floor, and had just finished listening to it twice, when I felt a tickling on my toe.
Thoughts ran through my head...must be a string, a piece of paper, a pen, SOMETHING.
I looked down.
It was a giant black beetle.
Yikes.
Dad
and I debated about what to do. He covered the offending beetle with a
tissue, and I got another and picked it up. It sat quietly in my
pinched fingers for a little bit (I didn't want to squeeze it--imagine
the crunch! GROSS!!!), then decided it had enough and wanted OUT.
Giant black beetles are strong. Take it from me.
It felt like
it actually WOULD get out of my grip, so I arranged the tissue around
it so it was stuck, dropped it in the toilet, and flushed.
Gooooood riddance!
