Today is my 40th birthday! And since I already talked about my feelings about the 'big day' in my last post, I thought I'd do something fun today to celebrate this milestone birthday. If you have read my blog for any length of time, you know how much I enjoy posting photographs that were taken through the years. So, I invite you to join me today for a walk down memory lane...one that has stretched along for four decades.
To steal a line from David Copperfield...I am born...1967. In this photo, I am 3 months old. And just an extra little sweet note...this is the same dress that Ellie wore home from the hospital in 2000. I thought that was kind of special!
I'm not sure how old I am in this next photo, but I'm thinking 6-7 months.

Here's to the next 40!

Hi! I was reading Beth's Bountiful Blessings and clicked on the link to your page. I am also approaching the Big 40 very soon. Your pictures are great! You have a beautiful family and I really enjoyed sharing your happy day. Wishing you many more blessed years!

I thought about you so many times on Wednesday, Amy! It sounds like you had a wonderful day ~ I'm so glad! I loved seeing your life in pictures. You are just as sweet and beautiful on the outside as you are on the inside!
I'm a very happily married pastor's wife, former schoolteacher-turned-homeschool mom of six wonderful blessings, and freelance writer--and we live in the great state of Georgia! I'm a southern girl through and through...but most importantly, I'm a child of the King! This is my place to record thoughts about homemaking, our (soon to be) twelfth year of Classical-Charlotte Mason based homeschooling, writing around the fringes of family life, and more...so welcome to my little corner of the world!
