We recently had a new photo of the children made. This is the 'real' one...Wesley does NOT like his smile in this one! LOL
And check out Alexander's nose and sticky-outy tongue! Of course he had to fall at church on Wednesday night before we had the picture made on Friday and take the hide off his nose!
Please excuse the dust on my scan tray! Gulp...maybe I need to do a little cleaning on my HP! Erin would NOT like that dust speck in her hair! Plus, the photo is crooked! Erin isn't here right now, or she'd be fixing it for sure! She's our techie gal!
And here are a couple I took before we left home.
And I just have to share this one too. As most of you have probably experienced as well, Christmas mail order catalogs have steadily been filling our mailbox for weeks. This is the scene that we've been seeing around here!
Brings back LOTS of memories!
And last of all, Wesley recently entered a sweet potato decorating contest through 4H. He did a guard at 'Bucking-Yam' Palace. I thought it turned out cute, and he won first in the 'People' division. Our friend, John Benjamin, made a UGA bulldog out of his sweet potato, and he won third place in 'Animals'. It was adorable and I wish I had a photo of it as well! Great job, boys!
I'm a very happily married pastor's wife, former schoolteacher-turned-homeschool mom of six wonderful blessings, and freelance writer--and we live in the great state of Georgia! I'm a southern girl through and through...but most importantly, I'm a child of the King! We have just finished up our twelfth year of homeschooling, and our two oldest have now graduated! This is my place to record thoughts about homemaking, Classical-Charlotte Mason based homeschooling, writing around the fringes of family life, and more...so welcome to my little corner of the world!
