Apr. 23, 2008 - Grandfather's Journey
The next week (I think, I am so far behind;) ) we read the book Grandfather's Journey . We learned a lot about Japan, was taught origami (which is a good thing because I could not figure it out!), and had a visit from a local pet store with a bunch of birds. That was fun!! 
Gabriel's origami birds (the one's above are real hahaha).

How relieved I am to read that the birds came to my family rather than my family has gone to the birds!! Cool picture of Gabe with his beautiful birds. These are memories that will never fly away! I love you! Your #1 Fan, ~Mom
