This Is Encouraging

After delving a bit deeper into the school board that I have chosen to affiliate with, I have come to realize that they have an assistance program for children with ADD/ADHD! I didn't notice this initially because I was unaware that we would be looking for such a thing when we first decided to go with them. They are definately a 'School of Hope'. I will continue to pursue more information, but at least I know my needs can be facilitated.
Thanks to everyone who has stopped by already, posting welcomes and encouragement. I am so grateful to have found this place and I feel so blessed to be a part of this community.

Hey there !
I'm the mom you talked to Rachel about. :)
My son has also had a very hard time and has had a myriad of diagnoses. I am not sure what all she has told you but I am writing about our struggles and pursuing publication. I don't know about you, but as I have gone through this, I have longed for another mother to validate the struggle.
We have planned to homeschool (my son is almost 5) and have been doing some, but I have a new baby coming in sept and a 13 month old right now- I have to admit, the preschool route is looking good- although I know that I could do better.
I am questioning, praying, not sure.
I haven't updated my homeschool blog in quite some time- I need to get on that! :) but i do keep up with my other one- www.xanga.com/hippmama and talk some about our journey there.

I have some verses I will come by and give later I can feel the Spirit moving and I want to ecourage you sweet sister in Christ. I don't have a son with ADD/ADHD but at one point I almost wondered if I did , but I didn't get it checked and things seem to calm down. But I do have a son with alot of learning challanges and if you skim my blog site you can read tid bits here and there about him and his reading challanges. I hope you come visit. (0:
