This is a Canyon Towhee.  

Canyon Towhee: Found in Arizona, New Mexico, West Texas, Colorado and Mexico. Prefers dry hill country and desert canyons. 

A group of towhees are known as a "tangle" and a "teapot" of towhees.

I really like this picture.  I'm so glad it just stayed there for me to get this picture.
