toddler etiquette

Two year old J5 was eating an ice cream sandwich with his father.  He doesn't like to have messy fingers so J1 suggested he eat his ice cream sandwich with a fork.  The son looked at the father with a condescending glance and replied, "Daddy, a fork is for baloney."

Of course, we should have known.

So funny, my seven-year-old-girl has to be reminded repeatedly to use her utensils instead of her hands and my four-year-old little guy uses a fork for everything including creal without milk! Go figure! They're all such little individuals :-).
BTW your son is welcome at my blog anytime, he is so sweet and I appreciate his comments as well as yours :-).
Blessings, Julie
