Today, a woman who most would consider to be mentally ill told me to "take the cotton out of your ears, be quiet, and listen" to God. She also told me she was praying for me, that I used to do a lot of spirtual warfare, and that I would soon be back to myself. This woman is a Christian and prays everyday, because I hear her in the homeless shelter where my son and I live.
She will be gone soon, because she needs more supervision than she gets at the shelter. However, she has spoken truth to me and several other people at the homeless shelter. God speaks through whomever He chooses to speak through; if He spoke through an "ass" in the Bible, He can speak through flawed human beings today.
God has spoken to me a lot lately about my son, about how much He loves D. and me, and how doing "all that He told me to do" will result in a speedy deliverance from my current situation. Jesus Christ the same, yesterday, today, and forever.
