Giveaway!!!

Huber Hof Academy is having a giveaway!

She will be giving away the following two items...Check `em out!

I have a copy of Pirateology ~ A Pirate Hunter's Companion by Candlewick Press and this is one of my sons all time favorite books! It's written from a pirate hunter's point of view and is packed with all sorts of little tuck ins. There are ships logs, navigation, written letters, all sorts of pockets to open and find treasures, knot tying lessons with leather ropes to practice on and so much more. It will keep them reading for hours if not months! It's also perfect for reluctant readers as they make it so much fun to explore the life of a pirate that they just have to read it *grin*.

Now for all of you mama's out there! I've got a fun 8" x 8" scrapbook kit for you :) It includes a 4 ring chipboard binder that is a completely blank canvas so you can decorate it to fit any type of photos you want to put in it, acid free page protectors, double sided patterned paper, textured card stock, alphabet and number stickers, 2 sheets of die cut chipboard and ribbon. This would be perfect as a school album for all of those great photos and artwork I just know you are going to collect this coming school year!!!

For all the rules and details go to Huber Hof Academy

Summer Stuff...

On Sunday our church is doing what they call "Church At The Beach". What we do is rent a stage at the beach and have our worship/ service and then go and have fun in the water. People can sign up to get baptised in the ocean. Its really cool! I cant wait...Oh and by the way my toe isn't broken. It is just sprained. I have to do some exercises to strengthen the muscles back up, but that's it.

Have A Blessed Day,

Naomi

You would not believe what I did...On Monday night I like either broke or sprained my middle toe. So my mom said to tape it to the next toe and put ice on it when it swells. Then on thu it sill hurt so Friday we went to the doctor. He sent me to go get x-rays (which I dont like getting!) and they said they would call that afternoon to let us know if it was broken or sprained. Well its like Sunday and they still havent called. If its broken the doctor said I would have to get a boot or cast for my leg and if its just sprained to just wear tennis shoes or splint it. Well please keep me in your prayers....

From The Inside Out

Hey Yall,

I really love the words to this song...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Verse 1:
A thousand times I have failed, still your mercy remains
And should I stumble again, Im caught in Your grace
Everlasting Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending Your glory goes beyond all fame
Pre- Chorus:
In my heart and my soul Lord I give You control
Consume me from the inside out
Lord let justice and grace become my embrace
To love from the inside out
Chorus:
Everlasting Your light will shine when all else fades
Neverending Your glory goes beyond all fame
And the cry of my heart is to give You praise
From the inside out Lord my sould cries out
Verse 2:
You will above else still your purpose remains
The art of loosing myself in bringing You praise
Everlasting Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending Your glory goes beyond all fame
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Isn't it amazing how much God really does care for us and wants to pick us up when we fall!

Have A Great Day, Naomi

20 DAYS OF PRAYER CHALLENGE

Hello Everyone,

I would like to invite you to join me in 20 DAYS OF PRAYER. Jocelyn and Kylie are hosting the 20 days of prayer challenge and I thought it would be fun to invite other people to do it w/ me. Click on the button on the side of my blog that says "The 20 Day Prayer Challenge" and a website will come up, then go to the bottom of the post and sign up...for all of you, like me, who dont know what a URL is its just like your blogs address. (http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/pokadot/) Like that is mine. Here is some info that I coppied of the site on what it is about and when it starts.

The challenge will start on Thursday May 1st, which is the National Day of Prayer. From now until then, we hope you'll pick a country you'd like to spend the next 20 days praying for (along with specific things about that country to pray for) and post about it on May 1st.

If you have any questions about it or anything, just leave me a comment!

I decided to prayer for our country...America and specifically (is that spelled right?) the "youth" of our nation and what type of example we are leaving for our peers!
