Another new template!!!!!!!!!

Hey!

Do you like my new Italian/American flag template? I adore it! I sure hope God will let me go to Italy someday!! This template was made for me by elizastemplateblog so thank you soooooo much!

Last night I stepped out on our deck to feed our dogs and it was snowing and the smell was wonderful! It was crisp and smelled like it was winter! I wish I could have bottled it up and kept it forever! It smelled really nice!

I am reading "The tale of Despereaux" right now - okay well maybe not right this second but in general. I am reading it for me second time I think or maybe its my third. But I am waiting on a book from the library that I ordered and hasnt come yet so I am reading my own books in the mean time. What are you all reading?

Can you all believe that christmas is coming up so soon!! I am trying to come up with gifts for all my family! And let me tell you its not that easy! I have a gift thought of for my little sister but thats pretty much it!

The zoo, a tag and my life: the blog of Raechel ~~~~~~~~~

How is everyone?
Yesterday we went to the zoo!! Yay! It was lots of fun! We were celabrating a friend of the familys birhtday that was a few days back. I love looking at all the animals but I feel bad for them because they are in such small areas  :(
I loved the leapored! He or she was sooooo pretty/handsome! I also wanted the dolphins, red-pandas, hedge-hogs, the lynx, the tiger, the puma, the leapord and the otters! they were soooo adorable! We got to watch some bears swim and play! It was so cute! Gotta love the zoo!
I am reading a super good book! Its called "Love finds you in Last Chance, California" by Miralee Ferrell. I dont like the cover of the book but the inside story is super good!
Today is tuesday and I have to sit and watch a speach class that our homeschool group is doing because my mom wants me and my older sister to be in it but I dont want to at all! So she is making me sit in back and watch it. And then after that is done my older sister is in choir. I also have to go to the post office to mail a letter to a diffrent country.  Who it is, isnt your beeswax.....= )

He Hi Ho Hum bummble bees are on the run

Hi!
 
It is not my birthday anymore so I need a new post! And Jessica said I have to soo....I am!
Not that's there's a lot to post about.
Oh a friend of mine (that I met on here in 2006) has started a new blog! yay! She did have another one but it was having problems I think. We were pen-pals then but then stopped for a while and now we are back to writing! I missed her! She a great friend! She was actually my first friend when I started I think!
Hmmm...My dad has been at my grandparents for the last 2 days and is coming home today! Yay! : ) I was dressing up as him last night - I was not in any way making fun of him! But I was wearing his flannel shirt and his hat and his glasses (only one of his pair, he had his other ones with him) and I did look somewhat like him! Well except for the skirt and my below the shoulder hair! But he does have relatively long hair! But he looks best with it then with short hair!
Oh I took a quiz I found on someone's blog, it was how boyish and how girlish are you and guess what I was?
I was 80 % boyish and only 20% girlish! Can you believe that? I mean the thing fits me but the last part doesn't mostly. This is what the description was:

Can you tell at all or do I really fit this description to the tee? It has been said in my family that I have my head on right...(my mom and older sister are somewhat - okay a lot - bit flightly! But it fits them so well! They are so cute and funny! I love them!) I am more so like my dad, I do joke around but when it comes down to it I can think clearly. Which I hope is good. But I do have girlyniss to me! I think.... : )

Okay well thats it now! One last thing..could you all please pray that a package/letter get tm my friend in Italy very soon? I sent it a while back and she said she still hasnt gottne it so if you could that would be great!

Today is my birthday! happy birthday to me! today is my birthday happy birthday me!

Hello!
 
Do you know what day it is? Its my birthday today!!
I am now officialy 14 years old today! I am the fist one up today too! but thats normal!
We are doing nothing today! yay! I am looking forward to a quiet day at home!
Yesterday was my party. It was fun but tiring.
There were 6 other girls there. One had to work so she couldnt come and are "adopted" (not really) one couldnt get off work either. I didnt count them in the 6. And then my younger sister had her frined but my mom kept them away thankfully! (Not because my little sister bothers me becauce she doesnt! I wanted her in it! But its her friends that drives me crazy...I know thats not nice but its true)
We fist went on a hay ride through our neighbors woods which was super fun! and then we dipped carmel apples! You should have seen us! if you've done this before you'll probably know what I'm talking about! We had carmel all over us! Thankfully not in our hair though!
Then we went outside for a little bit trying to decide what to do and then we went back inside to play apples to apples! I love that game! And after that 2 more girls came from public school and then they watched ntil we had finished and then we went on anotehr hay ride and then we came back and had cake! ymm! And then we played clue and we didnt get to finish but we had to bring them home so we quickly put it away and looked at my books in my room because one of the girls wanted to see them. and then we opened presents and them we brought them home!
Now I decided I am not going to be one of those people who is hosting a dn=inner party and such all the time! I am not very good with people nor do I like to spend a lot of time with a lot of people. I love having friends through letters and blogs and e-mail but I dont have very many good friends that I see often.
But its nice to visit every once in a while!
 
Guess what????! It snowed last night!! Crazy and awesome! But now I have to go outside in it to do my chores! But thats otay buckwheat!  Hmmmmm I think thats all there is to post about! Have a fun time reading!

So there! I did it! Finally!! If no ones wants to do it thats fine!

Now the last thing..drum roll please!...(you've got to pretend there is an actual drum roll people!).........There is only 2 more days till jessicas birthday and only 3 more till mine!!!!!! Yay us!!! I will be 14!!! Another year closer to driving! (If I dont drive thats okay but its soemthing to look forward to. But I'm most looking forward to the day when I can go to Itally and meet Hedy!!!!)Okay back to life. We have been trying to clean my room and well I want to just get that yellow caution tape and tape it over me door so no one can go in! It is a disaster! I have so many note books and books and trinkets that are spilling out! We have been getting rid of some things but then my younger sister wants it and it stays in my room! No she will take it to her play room sometime.  :) I am having a small party on the 9th (which is Jessicas birthday!!) and there will be  6 other girls and perhaps one more if she can get off work..she is turning 18 the day after my birthday and she is actually more so my older sisters friend but I like her! 2 of her younger sisters are comeing. So if she does get work off there will be about 9 girls including my older sister and I. Well there also might be one more - but its not a girl - he's a good friend of the family. we've sort of adopted him :) So if he can get off work also then he will be coming along! We are planning a hay ride (with my dads tractor and a truck trailer! It will be awesome!) a bonfire with marshmellows perhaps, dipping apples in carmel, and fally tipe stuff! And of course opening presents! : ) So that is what we are doing! I think this is a long enough post now! so good bye!

Do you like my new template? Its Bonnets and Bugles!! I LOVE those books! I won it from the contest thing I entered of narnialover95's template blog!! I still adore my Nannerl one though and will use it again  in the future I'm sure!
So what has every one been up to of late? I have been busy with normal stuff.
Can you believe that I will be 14 in 10 more days!!!!? Yay!!!! I am having a small party on the 9th we think and I wish you all could be here for it!
Oh by the way the Fort thing went really well and was super good! I loved it! Very interesting it was!

Cold showers are not enjoyable one bit.Mules, A Fort thing we are going to , family get-together - these are the things I will talk about.

Hello one and all!

Welcome to the blog of a strange but nice girl! She sometimes gets carried away with titles and can be odd. If you are not apt to like such then I suggest you leave the premises immediately or you will be thoroughly shocked. thank you.

 

Ok Hi Every body! I know I am a bit (But trust me only a bit : -) OK - wow could I say ok a few more times? - My title is interesting is it not? Well last night I had to take a shower and my older sister who was doing dishes and on the phone with her bff was going to tell me (This I found out after the shower) That there was no hot water left and she had to boil water for dishes but she "forgot" to tell me because as she put it " How did you slip in there with out me knowing? I was going to tell you" Yeah and I'm thinking as I am shivering from the cold (Oh and I only got to shampoo my hair and rinse it) wish she would have told me!! It was not enjoyable let me tell you! After that I had to boil some water and our it over my head so I was sure I got all the shampoo out. So that's one subject! Moving on! 

Does anyone know anything about Mules? I am trying to find out more because I want one...I know it probably wont happen but I can always hope. So if you do could you please share with me?

Another subject yet is today we are going to a fort thing (I would tell the name but worry that would let on to where I am from and I am not supposed to tell) because its a homeschoolers day and you only have to pay half price or something like that and they are teaching about the Civil war! I am trying to write a book on it! So I am very excited for it! And then after we are going to a pizza place for a family get-to-gether with my moms dad and his wife and my moms 2 sisters and their families! We are celebrating my birthday that is on October 10th and my Uncles that is at the end of September!

How is school going for everyone? Mine is going pretty well.

I'm sorry this is pretty short but I have nothing else to blog about!

Go Fish concert

Guess what? Last night, my dad and I went to the Go Fish concert that we got 2 free tickets for and it was only 20 minutes away! It was absalutly awesome!

I do love Go Fish songs! After the concert, my dad bought me 2 of their CD's one for $15 and the otehr for only $5 because we got the first one for the normal price! Great huh? I got "Go Fish: party like a preschooler" - I know you are all thinking " seriously?? She got that baby one??" but I got it because your never to young for Go Fish songs and my little sister would enjoy them too! So that is why I got that one! And it has "Its hard to be cool (n a mini-van" Which as Peculiartreasures knows that its a great funny song! Anf the other CD I got was "Go Fish: Snazzy" Whihc me and my dad listened to on the way home. I like "American Kid" They sung that one live too! So it was tons of fun!! I loved it! We waited in a long line so I could have my 2 new CD's Autographed by them! So we finally go tup there and they all signed them both!!

Hi all!

FarmGirls are hosting a give-awayso I am particiapting so that is why I am blogging about it! I do think it is cool that they are doing such a cool thing! It is very clever and fun! So I know I am quite a bit late (But not after the dead-line mind you!) but I have been kept very bust around here so that is why i did not blog before.  The new give-away will start monday the 21st. Right now the give-away is a tatted bookmark which does look absalutly wonderful!So there is my post about their give -away!  So thank you farmgirls for doing this!

Now for more news on my life! Yesterday I had to go to a toe doctor appt, so I could have my in-grown toenail romoved :( It didnt hurt thankfully and went super well! But now my toe is indeed starting to hurt for after being numbed for quite some time it is now un-numb and is causing me some pain so if you all wouldnt mind praying for me that would be great!

News News and more News.

Hi All!
 
it is now time for another entry since a lot has been happening! On Thursday evening my dad went down to his friends and then on Friday morning (at like 4:30 am) they got on a plane down to Georgia and went to a Christian conference called "The ways of the Master" which he said was really good. He didn't get back till late late (like 2:00am) Saturday night (or morning) and then also on Saturday night one of my guinea pigs died. It was so unbelievably hard for me because after her cage mate and sister dies in April I spent a lot of time with Daisy so she wouldn't be lonely and we got really close and so when she finally passed away it was awful. But I do know that she's in a better place with her sister and God will be taking very good care of them for me. I believe that I feel more at peace because of all my wonderful friend on here praying for me! So thank you all sooo much!! May God bless you!
 
Also Yesterday my lucky parents and older sister and some of my dads friends and one of his friends daughter helped butcher our 85 butcher chickens! I dint take any part in it because it grosses my out! So I stayed inside with my younger sister and played with her so she wouldn't go out there either! So that is what has been going on here! I have been reading a lot and finished quite a few books. Now I am reading "Bella at Midnight" Which is pretty good so far!
 
Well I should go now! We are going to can more tomatoes! We did some yesterday only we made spaghetti sauce. Have a good day everyone!

I am home again jiggaty jog.

Hello all!

We are now home sweet home! we got home at about 7:00pm last night! It was wonderful to sleap in my own bed and be able to hear my guinea pigs!

All the houses we looked at (we looked at 5) were no's. They were either to small or the outside wasnt set up for animals and almost all had neighbors right beside them. And we dont really want neighbors sooo close.

So we are staying here for now! While we were up at my grandparents I finished "Mozart's sister" and "Sohpies secret" and started "the 4th Roman mystery " The Assassins of Rome" which is very good and I am almost finished with it!

Hmmm..what else do i have to say? Oh I know!  A long time ago bookprincess awared my so I will post that now! thank you bookprincess!

Sorry this is so short notice....

Hi People!

Did you like my last post??  It was a joke. I was talking (well on here) that I had nothing to post about so I would just do what I did there. So if any of you are wondering I am reading "Mozarts Sister" which is soooo good! I love it! ok now for what I have to post about:

I know this is so short notice but my family and I are going to my grandparents today! It was totally a last minute desishion (sp? sorry) so we will be gone till sunday. I will still be able to go one HSB once  in a while but not my e-mails : ( We are also going to be looking at some houses for sale up there! I am excited to go but also not because I have to pick plenty of greens (clovers,grass ect.) for my guinea pigs to last them the whole weekend. The gal we bored horses for is taking care of all our animals. So that is wonderful!

Yesterday we freezed tomatoes again. It isnt a fun job but we did get it done before we have to leave!

So rewarding!

Hi all!
 
I'm sorry I didnt post  earlyer but our computer was having problems.
On Monday my mom, my older sister, a friend of the familys, my little sister and I went to our neighbors and picked about 7 full wal-mat bags of sweet corn. We had 10 of the corn that night and we were going to freeze the rest. That nigt after dinner, my mom and I boiled and cut off the corn anf froze it. It took till about 9:00 pm but we made around 41 little freezer bags of corn!! Yay!! It is so rewarding  to know that we did that many and it will last most of the winter! We are planing on going back and picking some more but not sure when. Have any of you picked any corn this year yet?
Yesterday, (Tuesday) my older sister babysat 2 children from our church - the same little girl I babysat and her brother - all day. She said  it went well. I think they are fun kids but can be tireying.
Oh and please check out my story thing in the post below!!! There is still plenty of room for more people and time!
