Hi every1 whats up? im not doing much all we've done is school. I have been makeing template and i have run out og ideas dose eneyone have eney ideas or good places to get back grounds? how is shool going for every1? it is going good for us so far butt we haven't started all of our subjects yet but we will start them soon what are your favorit subjects? whell that all for now ttyl bye bye.
Well, now is the time for another update. First of all we started school on the 4th of August. Then my Dad had his Birthday on the 10th of August, our Grandfather and Grandmother came over and celebrated it with us, and 20 days later on the 30th, it was my little sister Elizabeth's birthday, our Grandparents, Aunt, Uncle and Cousin came over! We watched the Alabama vs Clemson game (Alabama won 34-10) and we celebrated Beth's Birthday. That was pretty much the update for now.
So many people are doing contests and give-a-ways on their blogs that I had an amazing idea...I'll host my own contest for you all!!! But I'm not giving away only ONE prize.....not even TWO prizes....but THREE!! Read on!!
Here's How It Works...
The contest will be decided into 3 ago divisions: ages 7-11, ages 12-15, and ages 16 and up
All You Have To Do...
is to write either a poem, an essay, or a story about animals and private message it to me (if you dont' know how to private message on HSB, please comment me telling me and also leave your blog address so I can help you through it) It's that simple!
Rules of Participation:
1. You MUST private message your entry. If you do not have a blog (or if you have a blog but it is not on HSB) please leave a comment asking for my permission to click the "E-Mail Me" link on my sidebar to e-mail your entry. (I'll comment you with my answer on my blog) If you send an
entry via e-mail without my permission, I will not accept your entry.
2. At the top of your entry you MUST include your name, age, blog address and/or e-mail address. I will need to know this information to know what division to place your entry in and to get ahold of you if your name is drawn.
3. After you private message your entry (or e-mail if you do not own a blog), you MUST comment me and therefore let me know to check my private message box and to add you to my list.
4. After both commenting and sending in your entry, MUST post about my contest on your blog and also post my link
5. I'm pretty open to whatever you'd like to write, although I will NOT accept entries on killing animals/hunting. Also if you're doing an essay, mating is a questionable topic also so please stay away from writing both of those. Since I have younger readers who also read this blog, neither topics will be accepted for their protection. Please stick to more educational and kid-friendly ideas.
Contest Ends: October 17th at 1 a.m.
I will do a random draw for each division the morning of October 17th. The name I draw will receive a prize (there will be 1 winner in all 3 age groups) but I will also pick my favorite entry (1 from each age group) which I will post on my blog.
(The pen in the pictures is just to give you an idea of how big the prizes are)
Prize for 7-11 Division:
A certificate and two bookmarks that I thought were cute, the dog heads are a really neat rubber, too!
Prize for 12-15 Division:
A certificate and a color pencil "by number" kit that has darling little mini pencils. lol I love itty-bitty stuff like that. ^_^
Prize for 16 and up Division:
A certificate and a 36 piece card making set (I think it makes six cards, I couldn't tell) that comes with lots of decorations to decorate your card with!
My 3 favorite entries will also receive a certificate.
Have much fun writing and tell as many about the contest as you can!! I need at least 10 entries for the contest to go through, but I'd really like to see more than just 10!
Note: Even if you're not such a great writer, don't let that stop you from sending in an entry!! The prizes could go to ANYONE, including you! And for those of you who like writing, make sure you try to do your best....your entry could be published on my blog!!
I wish I could be there with you to celebrate your special day, but I'm off to art class in an hour (figured that ain't enough time to get down to AR and back. lol) =P I was going to call you this morning before I leave but I figured I should let you sleep in on your birthday. ^_^ Just wanted to let you know that I love you very much, you're a very dear and close friend, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! Have fun with Stuphy, Jazzy, and Nan today, and know that my thoughts are with you and I send a thousand hugs! ^_^ (Hopefully you'll get my package today!)
I'm not sure if I was supposed to tell about my first journaling experiance on my blog or on the website's blog, so I'm doing both. lol ^_^
I first started my own journal in 4th grade, and although I wasn't devoted to writing every day, I did have a goal in my head to write and finish as many journals as I could. My older sister had boxes full of journals, and I knew that I wanted to have a big box full "just like my sister". Back then I would loose my journal for up to months at a time, but now I write in my journal every night. I love writing, and during that "quiet time" that I have with my journal I have time to remember back over my day and it usually gives me an opportunity to remember all the good things God did for me that day, or character traits I need to work on. Eventually your journal grows to be like a best friend, something you cherish, something that you could never replace.
My Gram (aka my grandma) is the seamstress in our family, and she's the one who taught me how to sew. My first remembrance of her at her sewing machine was when she was making me a pink blanket with a blue teddy bear in the middle with a few hearts in the corners. I remember being so excited and tracing the teddy bear with my finger over and over. Our first sewing project together was a doll dress and it was a complete mess (looked more like a robe than a dress!!) She gave me a sewing machine for my birthday and claims that now I have to do all the sewing for our family. lol

Oh Dear, I cannot think of anything to say!
Posted By
Miss Corn Flower
Greetings dear friends and fellow bloggers,
As I cannot think of a single thing to talk about and discuss,
perhaps a simple entry on what I have learned of lately, studying Veterinary Science from a 4-h book.
An Animal's Body Systems, and what they Consist of.
This is what I have memorized, not what comes straight from the book itself.
Cardiovascular: The Body's Blood System. Responsible for the body's blood flow.
It consists of the Heart (pump), Lymphatics and Arteries (pipes), Spleen (A filter and storage area
for the blood), and Veins.
Digestive: Crumbles and absorbs the food that enters your body. This contains the
Mouth (entrance point and crusher), Esophagus (the food tunnel,
Stomach (storage component), Pancreas (digesting area), Liver (the filter),
Intestines (jumbled tunnels food travels through), and Rectum (the Exit point).
Integumentary: In charge an animals body protection and pigmentation.
Includes the Skin (you know what that is), Fur (or hair),
Glands (in animals, a cell or group of cells that secretes a specific substance), Claws, Horns, or Hooves.
Urogental: Removes waste and assists in the animals reproduction.
Major parts are the Kidneys, Bladder, Uterus, Ovaries, and Testicles.
Respiratory: Supplies Oxegyn to the body and disposes of Carbon Dioxide.
This system is made up of the Nostrils, Nose, Lungs, Trachea, and sinuses.
Sense Organs: What animals use to see, hear, touch, smell, and taste.
These include Nose, Tongue, Skin, Eyes, and Ears.
Endocrine: Any gland of the body that secretes hormones directly into the blood or lymph.
For example the thyroid, pituitary, pineal, and adrenal glands are part of the Endocrine System.
Nervous: Assists the body in feeling and reacting. Consisting mainly of the Nerves,
Brain, and Spinal Cord.
Musculoskeletal: What its name implies, this system support the
body's movement and activity.
The Muscles, Ligaments, Tendons, Cartilage, and Bones.
`````````````````````````````````````````
I shall now leave you to, if you will, ponder these long, scientifical names and
look them up in the encyclopedias and dictionarys, discovering there deep
meaning and vital importance. Or, I would think it possible,
though not entirely logical, to read this, store it in the innermost
parts of your brain never to be found again! and leave this blog, to
return another time. Your Choice......
~Good Day and God Bless You~
From a rambling,
Alright, ladies...We're still alive! It's just taken us awhile to update some things. We're going to be putting together another newsletter soon (yay!?) so that'll probably be keeping us slightly busier. Then we have the new site to deal with, so that'll keep us busier still. Don't worry - we like this kind of stuff. It's just hard to keep up with at times. Especially with school starting again, ballet lessons, and so many other things to focus on! We have a lot of great ideas developing for the next newsletter, so stay tuned for that! (Although it may be awhile until we get everything sorted out!) We'll be focusing mainly on the new site, and when that's all done, we'll be putting together the newsletter.
Also, if you have anything you'd like to share, send us a message. We'll be glad to feature things written by women of all ages. (Yes, that means every one of you.)
Also...Got any prayer requests? Send those in too. "For where two or more are gathered in My name, there I am in the midst of them." - Matthew 18:20 (You can send them in anonymously if you like!)
Any interesting questions you'd like to ask us? We'd love to answer them! Also, thank you all for the wonderful feedback you've been sending us! It's really appreciated!
Oh yes - just to let you all know - we now have our new forum up! Just go to PricelessPurity.org/forums to register.
Alright, and now to wrap up this entry, we'd like to include some "random" Scripture, just because we can fit it in here...I was just reading this the other day, and couldn't get it off my mind. *LOVES IT* It's just a really great thing to read like...Every day. Actually, it'd be a great thing to memorize, as well. It's just one of those chapters that are good to keep in your heart and mind!
{Colossians 3:12-25, NKJV}
"Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
Wives, submit to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.
Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them.
Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well pleasing to the Lord.
Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged.
Bondservants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God. And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality."
I'm so sorry I've not posted for ages. I will try and post very soon or later. We have been very busy and I am going to my friend's birthday party today at 3pm and it ends at 6pm.
As I said, I will try and post later.
