books

I have a questiion for anyone who is reading this blog.

Question is : If you have a relunktant reader, Is Audio books good for them.

My pros are: They are hearing the words, HIstory, or what ever they are listening to. It will help them to pronounce words better, As they hear them.

My cons are: They are not seening the words, it is not helping with word recognition, does not help with spelling,

What to do what to do. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appriciated.

If I had a reluctant reader I would buy a Kindle and use it's text to speech feature to help him or her practice reading. Here are some other suggestions I have for reading instructions. http://www.oklahomahomeschool.com/reading.html
