There was the sweetest little girl in a bright pink dress, pink-embroidered sandals, with big pink bow in her long dark hair, sitting in a pink-flowered stroller at the lab this morning. I grinned at her over my blue mask and she wasn't too sure about what was on my face. I pulled the mask down and smiled at her and she broke into a huge grin. Over the next few minutes we played peek-a-boo and she giggled and waved and waved and waved at me. Oh, how I wished I could have hugged her! She was darling.

News from the lab was mixed. My platelets are back in abundance and we are very grateful. The red count was not great, but it was ultimately the white count that once again prevents my having the port and chemo tomorrow. So, everything has been tentatively moved to next Tuesday.

The Lord placed every one of those cells just where they are and we rest in His will.

It was a profitable day just to meet such a darling little stranger in pink! May she grow up to know Jesus!
