• Sep. 6, 2007 - A new year

I'm not sure why we call January 1st the start of a new year. I always consider it the day after Labor Day. We had a great summer! I determined to spend more downtime with the kids and husband. That could get habit forming.  My 13 year old decluttered and organized for me, and my 9 year old finally got a bedroom of his own. Those were major goals!  God has been very faithful with our farm. Although we had much less rain then every surrounding town, our crops flurished and we have been blessed!  We are not totally in la la land. We are still dealing with attidudes, relatives, youthgroup isssues, etc. etc. I do have a goal for the fall, to keep a better job with this blog!

                                                          God Bless!

Oh my goodness! Our Pastor just said tonight in church that he doesn't know why everyone thinks that January is a new year when everything new to us happens after Labor Day weekend. Too funny, that I just read it hear. Hope you have a wonderful schoolyear. Glad to hear all is going well!

Blessings,
Lori
