• Feb. 18, 2008 - God's Faithfulness in NYC
| THe only thing my oldest daughter wanted for her 16th birthday was to see a Broadway Show in NY with her dad. Two days before they were supposed to leave on the bus trip, her dad got the flu. Yukk! Now, I knew I had to fill in for him. I knew nothing about New York City, and I really don't enjoy movies or shows. =) However, God helped me navigate through the city using the Bob Neff map, which is no little feat! And we had a wonderful time! If you ever find yourself in NYC, go to Ellens Stardust Diner on Broadway and 51st street! The waiters and waitresses sing as they serve you, and even jump around on chairs and tables singing old time broadway hits. I think I'll stay in Manheim for a while though!!! ;) |
