Today at 6:45 am while Hollie was at work she got a deep gash in her knuckle. She said blood was dripping down her arm, she was trying keep it from dripping everywhere by catching it in her hand. It eventualy overflowed and was dripping everywhere. So she called Mom who went to get her, by the time they got home her knuckle had stopped bleeding. They went to the emergency room where she got 4 shots in her finger, one tetanus shot in her shoulder and 3 x-rays and 4 stitches!! She has to wear a finger splint on her right hand. The 4th of July is always exciting at our house. Two years ago Jacob swallowed a metal sheriff star about the size of a quarter. He swallowed it perfectly so you could see the star caught in his throat on the x-ray. They actually had to put him under anesthesia. Thankfully the star didn't puncture his throat. So he spent the 4th of July '05 in the hospital. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort our comfort overflows. If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. 2 Corinthians 1:5-6 |

Yesterday we started school. I was pretty excited because since fourth grade I have been using switched-on-schoolhouse for all of my school subjects it is on the computure. After a while Haylee, Joseph and I started getting tired of doing all of our schoolwork on the compture. But we didn't really have a choice, because Mom and Dad couldn't afford to buy schoolbooks that aren't reusable for seven children. Then last fall we started Homelink. They will remburse Mom for almost any curriculm she buys. They will reburse anything that is in her student learning plans. It is pretty cool. So this fall we only do Language and Bible on the computure. The rest will be on paper and in books. Today is Jacobs birthday he is turning five. He said he wants golf clubs. We asked him if he wanted a remote controled car or a bike or golf clubs and answered golf clubs. We all thought he would what a bike since the bike he has is to small, but he wants golf clubs. So that is what he is getting. He loves orange so his cake is going be decorated with orange candy and frosting.
Happy
birthday
Jacob!!
Joshua 24;15 But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this whom you will serve. But as for me and my house we will serve the Lord.
P.S. Merry Christmas in July!

Today was the first day of VBS (vacation bible school). Joshua, Jonathan and Haylee were signed up to go. I was going to because Jonathan has Down syndrome so I was going to follow him and help were needed. This year the theme was pirates of the Galilean. Jonathan and his group were in the front row. Well, when it started there was a Arg contest between the two halves of the room to see which could arg louder. When you get three hundred children yelling at the tops of their lungs it get kind of loud. Jonathan didn't like it one bit, so I took him out into the hall. A couple minutes later Hollie showed up and gave Jonathan a hug and word of comfort. Jonathan didn't want to go back in for the singing or skit. So we sat on some child sized chairs out in the hall. Several people came by talked to Jonathan a little bit, they were very nice. Later after the first part was over we went back to his group. In the lighthouse room they had a fog thing in the room so out we went Jonathan didn't like that either. A realy nice lady named Jessica came out and talked to him and then we went back in. Then they turned the lights off, out we went. I didn't think I would get him back in then while we were outside Jessica came out and told us that the lights were back on so went back in. Then later they were going to turn the lights back off but one of the leaders asked if we could keep them on. Then we went out side for gym time Jonathan did super. After that we went back inside for snack and craft time. Jonathan did good there to, execpt he didn't eat all of the snack. Then all of the kids from all of the grades went back into the main room for more singing. Jonathan and I skipped that part to. We waited outside for Hollie, Joshua and Haylee. So that was part of my day. |

A couple day ago we all took Heather to the airport. It was kind of sad. She had to take a twelve hour flight to Germany, while she was there she was able to take a train type of thing through the airport. She meet up with a couple of her teamates there. Then she and her teamates took a flight down to Ghana, Africa. Heather called from Germany at around midnight our time. Mom was going to add more mineuts to Heathers calling card but when mom tried she found out that she needed another number from the card. So now Heather problely won't be able to contact us by phone. That is a bummer. At least we can email her and send letters. Right now Heather is in Africa. It is a bout six a clock there and about ten a clock here. So she might be having dinner and it isn't even lunch time. I wonder what she is going to eat.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am wtih you always, to the very end of the age. Matthew 28:19

Well today I was sitting here at the computer when Joshua comes in, he says " If you're wondering where James is he is outside.". So I send Joshua outside to keep track of James. I run back to my room and put my flip-flops on. Then I hurry outside and find James sucking his thumb and holding his blankie walking around barefoot in the dewy grass. Right now he is doing his eagle puzzle on the table. He loves his eagle puzzle.
Humble yourselves therefore, under the mighty hand of God that He may exalt you at the proper time. Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you. I Peter 5:6,7 |

A couple nights ago Jacob was sleeping funny. He often sleep walks at night, but this time it was a little different. He was sleep walking and just needed to use the bathroom. A while after he had been put back to bed while everyone was sleeping Dad found Jacob crying on the stairs. Jacob said that he thought he had swallowed something, so Dad took him to the living room. Dad listened very carefully to his breathing. They didn't know for sure if Jacob had swallowed anything or not. Jacob even showed Dad what he thought he had swallowed. It was a small bingo chip. After about an hour Jacob said "There is one person who knows if I swallowed something.". Then Dad asked, "Who is that?". Jacob answered "God." Then Dad said, "Mabye you could ask Him." So then Jacob put his hands together

Hi, my name is Heide, I am thirteen and have been Homeschooled all of life. Two of my little brothers came down to help me create my blog. I have five little brothers and four sisters. Hilarie is my littlest sister she is two months old. In my opinion she is the most adorable baby. Her blue eyes light up whenever someone talks to her. She has a little dimple that shows when she smiles. Here is the verse that I memorized last week: Rejoice in the lord always, again I will say rejoice. Phillipians 4:4 |

Happy Fourth of July!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

James is 2 years old, he loves to go outside in his brothers shoes. Even tho they are to big for them. Last night while my aunt and uncle were here James came in from outside he wasn't barefoot because his feet were caked in mud. We have had alot of rain wich means that there is alot of mud. I went and started a bath for him, I put extra bubble bath in. Then Dad came in and put even more in. I t was funny!
and said "Dear Jesus God, Did I put something in my mouth?" Then after a few moments of silence Dad asked Jacob "what did God say?". "I did not." Answered Jacob. What a sweet story! We think Jacob was probally just dreaming.
Please visit my six year old brother Joshua's blog. He just started a blog.He is on my friends list as ChunkyMonkey.
