hello

Not much to write about today, it has been raining all day.  It is cold but I don't really mind.   I am really glad that autumn is finally here.   This summer we got a lot of zucchinis.  I only knew of one recipe,  the bread one.  So I made it in different forms, bread, bars, and muffins.   My mom found this great cookie recipe for cookies online:

Zucchini Cookies

Mix together:

1 cup grated zucchini

1tsp baking soda

1 cup sugar

 1/2 cup shortening or butter

1 egg beaten.

Stir in:

2 cups flour

1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp ground cloves

Then drop batter by teaspoons on greased cookie sheet.  Bake 12-13 minutes at 375 degrees.

And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation;.  Having believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the  promised Holy Spirit,

Ephesians 1:13

Old Fashion Lemonade

Posted in recepies

This is the recipe my sister and I used for lemonade on Saturday.  It was a big hit!

       8 lemons

       1 1/2 cups sugar

       2 quarts (8 cups) water

Thinly slice lemons and remove seeds, then place in a large bowl.  Sprinkle with the sugar.  Let stand 10 minutes.  Press fruit with poatatoe masher or back of spoon to extract juice.  Add water, pressing fruit until well flavored.  Remove fruit slices.  Serve over ice cubes.  If desired, garnish with lemon slices.

                                       10 (1 cup ) servings

And my God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.     Philipians 4:19

I just finished making dinner,  tater-tot-casserole.

Here is the recipe:

     1 ib. browned hamburger

1 large can of mushroom soup

      Grated cheese

      Tater tots

      Seasoning salt (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees combine soup and hamburger add salt for flavor. Line the bottom of a 9x9 pan with tater tots.  Spread with hamburger mixer.  Now cover with grated cheese.  Then top with the rest of the rest of the Tatar tots.  Cook for one hour then top with grated cheese.    It is very simple, I don't perfer it but my dad loves it.

To all received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God.   John 1:12
