Apr. 4, 2006 - OPENING NITE

Opening nite is tonite. Tara and I are going to see it. J's mom (and sibs) are coming to watch the kids.

J came home in his make-up last nite and it was sooo weird. His nails are painted purple (they are actually red, but under the lights, they will be purple), he has a bar-code "tatoo" on the back of his bald head, a very jagged mustache and beard, and the color of choice for him is black and purple. I'm taking my camera tonite and will hopefully have pics up sometime tomorrow or Thursday.

I got invited by the children's minister at the church we visited to join her on Wed. nite to meet the pastor at a MEET & GREET. Supper and childcare provided. I'm really looking forward to it. I also received a phone call after she and I exchanged several e-mails from a man in the church, asking if we had any questions. Haven't had this much interaction with a church before joining in so long (not that we've made that decision yet, but you know what I mean). Not even in LR. It was really wonderful! I'm so looking forward to going back on Sunday...if I can!

**I was wanting to set up my RSS and wondered if I did it right. I went in and changed it to YES when it asked if I wanted it set up. Is there anything else that I need to do? If anyone knows the answer to this, please let me know! thanks

And by the way, what are "trackbacks" and do I want them after each entry? I'm still learning this "new" fangled thing called the internet!

Have you figured out what that RSS thing is?? I am still very confused about it. I can't seem to get a coherent explanation anywhere. Maybe once you figure it out you can come over to my blog and interpert in laymans terms what it is and what exactly it does.
