Mar. 12, 2008 - Prayer Needed

I will be going to our homeschool cover school's Mom's retreat this weekend. While there I will be sharing my testimony. I feel like the Lord wants me to focus on anxiety and how He has delivered me from it and how He has taught me to counter it with His word when the enemy tries to bring it back in. Please pray for me as I have never shared this in a large group setting before (There will be 45-50 women). Pray that the Lord would show me specifically what He wants me to say and what portions of His word He wants me to share. Pray that He would use this message to deliver other women from this often secret prison, but above alll else pray that He would be glorified by my words and actions.

I don't even know you and I am so EXCITED for you! I know when the Lord first used me as a means of sharing my testimony in front of a crowd of people I was literally shaking! (That's not why I am so excited though :O) !)

God bless you, may His words be on your lips. May those who need to hear the message hearts be softened. May you, my dear sister in Christ, be greatly rewarded as you are obediant to His call. May His peace wash over you like a mighty river.

God is so good, and He is greatly to be praised as He breaks the chains of strongholds that hold us down from accomplishing His work! He is the great Deliverer!

I am confident that you will do well at this. You have helped me with your story and I know you will help others. It doesn't matter if our issue is anxiety, depression, whatever. We all have SOMETHING and that is what makes us need Jesus even more. Let me know how it turns out.

We are the Pretzel Family. Not really but we always use the word Pretzel to tell everyone how to spell our last name. This is our adventure through the ups and downs of homeschooling. I hope you can learn something from my ups and my downs. I am 31 years old, I have been married to my wonderfully patient husband P, he's 42 years old, for 12 years.
