Ball of fire

I do believe in global warming, but I heard this on the Rush Limbaugh show ( 100.3 FM) and thought it was funny.

How to make a spear w/ aluminum can tip

  1. Take a stick, hollow out the middle (I don't have to because I use a certain type of stick which has  stuff in the middle which I scrape out , but you do! bwah hah hah hah hah hah!).
  2. Cut a notch above the end of the hole (don't cut all the way to the bottom).
  3. With a sharp knife, cut out the shape you want and a tang at the bottom.
  4. Cut two notches where the tang and blade meet
  5. Very carefully fold the edges over to the notches.
  6. Put the tang in the socket
  7. You're done!

Princeofthehill's list of EDIBLE plants*

  1. Plantain:  oval leaves with a tall stalk sticking out of the middle, grows abundantly at the edge of most  fields (not the tropical fruit).

  2. Horsemint:  long stem with small, pale leaves, grows in wooded areas.
  3. Birch:  brown, somewhat metallic bark that tastes like root-beer and oval leaves with ridges. Usually  grows at high elevations.
  4. Sassafras:  three different  types of leaves, the most  distinguishable shape looks like a three fingered claw. Usually grows near trails and roads.

  5. Turkey mustard:  small plant, with small leaves with ridges.  Usually grows in valleys near creeks. Tastes good, just don't confuse with poison ivy!
  6. Sourwood: shiny oval leaves.  It's very common.
