Apr. 24, 2007 - Football and Decisions

Guess what?  I'm finally back on!  Sorry about that guys, I didn't think I would be working as much as I did last week.  I'm so glad to be back on here, I miss you all so much!

This past Saturday my family went to the Relay For Life at my brother's college.  It's a walk to support those survivors of cancer, it was a very special time.  We kids also had a lot of fun taking advantage of the football goals.  *evil grin*  My 9 year old brother brought his little football, and was kicking it over the goal posts.  Of course, I couldn't be outdone by him, so I did it too.  Amazingly, it took me two tries to get it over.  I was very excited, and shouted 'touchdown', which apparently is the wrong term.  I was corrected by my dear little brother that I had just made a field goal, not a touchdown.  DUHHHHHHH, I don't know why I said touchdown in the first place.

At youth group on Sunday, we did a Bible study about making decisions.  Growing older, you realize how many more decisions come your way, and how sometimes you have to make those decisions yourself.  It can be scary, but always remember that God is there.  Some of the things you can do when faced with difficult decisions, is- pray, seek help from those you trust, stay in the Word, and always trust God, no matter what.

He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me.  --Psalm 18:17

Oh my goodness... you were busy in the week I was gone. O_o You trying to give me a heart attack?! *pant pant pant*

I'm totally with you in the football thing. I played beach volleyball in FL, and stunk at it. *rolls eyes* My team just had me serve the ball each time because that's all I could to. xD So I'd serve the ball, watch the game, serve the ball again, watch some more... Etc. lol

Missed you while I was gone. :) You know what, I want your email address so I can stay in touch with you better! Occasional comments just don't suit me. ;) What do you think? PM me. :)

Much love and hugs!

About Me
God blessed the broken road, that led me straight to you. ----------------------------------------------------------- Living every day to the fullest, living out loud, living God's way, living to please Him, living for God. "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." -Joshua 1:9 ------------------------------------------------------------- I am a 17 year old homeschool graduate named Sarah. I love to read, and hang out with family and friends. Recently, I have been wrestling with college, and all the fun decisions that are involved. Thankfully, God has been with me and my mom and dad every step of the way, and provided a pathway for me to follow. For now. God is certainly blessing the broken road that I am traveling on. ----------------------------------------------------------- Feel free to leave me messages, I would love to get back to you! I remain, God's servant, and your friend, Sarah
