What A Day

Today I did a favor for my dh and it almost cost me my sanity. He is out of town and so he asked me to go and get Matt Kenseth's autograph (he is a NASCAR driver incase someone doesn't know). I went with my 2 boys and the 2 girls that I am watching this week. The girls were fine but my boys were the kids from hell  . When we got out of the car my oldest who is 8 had to go to the bathroom and didn't tell me. So after we got in line I noticed that I forgot the camera and went back to get it. When I came back I found out that he went to the bathroom in his pants. On top of that neither of my boys listened to a thing I said the whole time we were there.
Now my m-i-l had plans to take them camping tomorrow and so I called to tell her that they may not go because of the way they had been acting. Don't you know that she started defending them? "They are just kids, they are tired" is what she said. After talking to her I was sure that they were staying home. We are home now and they haven't stopped  . I just want to pull my hair out and now I have to go to work. Maybe that is a good thing  . Well that is my rant for the day, more later.

Hopefully by the time you see this, the crisis will have passed and you can see some small bit of humor in it. We all have days like this - at least I know I do! Today was one of them, actually, although it wasn't as public as your was.
Tomorrow is another day!

I know those days. I thought I was going to strangle my daughter the other day when we went shopping! She (a teenage no it all better than mom) was arguing about everything. And when she wasn't argueing she was moping. I wasn't ever going to take her shopping again. But, we didn't get her anything and she needed some clothes. So I told her that if she didn't act like Princess Pootitude, I would take her again, but, the first sign of the Princess' arrival and we would leave!
By the way, did you get the autograph? LOL
I bet you are thinking, who cares!
Take care...there are many who are dealing with sort of the same things.

I forgot to tell you where I got the dragonfly! Go to your Homeschoolblogger Control Panel and click on Change Template. You will have to scroll towards the bottom. There are many to choose from. I wish the Crocus' were with the dragonfly. I love them both but the dragonfly won out.
