Patriotic Friday - In God We Still Trust
|
My sister-in-law, Kelly, sent me the following email:
In March, 2005, this song was performed at a Diamond Rio concert. They received an immediate standing ovation, and continue to do so every time they perform it! Sadly, major radio stations wouldn't play it because it was considered politically incorrect. Consequently, the song was never released to the public. If this song speaks to your heart and you feel to share it with friends and loved ones, please do. Then, regardless of our ethnic origin, let us cease being the silent majority and join together.
Not as a particular political party, but as Americans!
Attached was a video file of the song, with words. I wish I knew how to get it up here so everyone can see it. However, I found the group's website where you can listen to the song and learn more about it.
I hope you find this song as inspirational as I did. If you enjoy country music, contact your favorite local radio station and ask them to play it.
